Graffiti Loft Sale

For the past few months I've been going to these monthly sales on the top floor of Hibernian House in Surry Hills. Don't be turned off by the fact the building may collapse any day now., but rather take the lift [which is full of interesting goods in itself..] to level 5 then walk to level 6 [attempt to deter the small dog who will follow you up] where you will find some stuff you may indeed want to take home, or anywhere else you go for that matter.

Tonight [where I will not be].

In a tribute to the Ksubi Xmas Party tonight at Ruby Tramp in Surfers Paradise [the city where I am not.]

Far Away Kingdom

Seventy Seven.

Last Saturday we hit the usual mecca of frights and lights that we know as 77. Here is what's left.

On friday this will... all be over. I've been working on a body of work which has become a series of poems entitled Introspection. What began as a few jibberish words now governs my every thought. Seeing as on Friday it will be over and out, I thought I'd pay homage to the joy and trials of what has been Extension II. This is one of many. This is Trust.

                        Thump thump.

Stinging vision nebulous to the fluorescent burst of white light.

Imagination of the strobe lights leak under my eyelids. Queasy nakedness…

                                    The     c a n o p y   of lacy   f r a g i l i t y   stretches                                                                                                                  beyond me.

And then, You.

Corners of a twinkle…

Mickey Mouse by Night

Night lights. 77 on an initially uneventful Saturday kicks the arse of most places. Starting off at World Bar we payed a puny $15 and took advantage of free drinks for two hours... Excellent. If you've got the money, invest in an $18 teapot... full of spirits. Night half explained.

City Slurs

Samm. My partner in crime, my male self and often, my muse.

While I'm on my Dangerous Dan rampage I might as well continue.

For about a month now Dangerous Dan has swung into action with a new initiative called Friday-A-Rama every Friday at Ruby Rabbit from 9pm (free before 11, $10 after 11). Having missed out on June's Porn-A-Rama, you need to compensate for the sense of loss.

This Friday he'll be joined by the likes of AJAX, his bro Beni and his Bang Gang buddies.

Eat the opportunity before it eats you.

Dangerous Dan is my favorite, without question. To add to the bonus of this event, FBI is helping run it, which as you know, will help their proceeds in saving FBI. So we all feel good.

Tickets are $20, so if next Monday doesn't feel like it's happening for you... write off Sunday and make it official.

Cirque Du So-Rave

Last Saturday we hit up 77's Circus. Lost in a sea of clowns and cats, between us we managed to get silly spray in our eyes, glitter in our mouths, sonic crickets bouncing around our ears, and the black lung. After a smash up between a Michael Jackson tribute and 77's usual wicked tunes, my feet still hurt.
